Bees to Blossoms Books started with a simple belief: that great books shouldn't be hard to find. We packed up our shelves, loaded them onto wheels, and brought the bookshop to the people.
Books Should Be Shared
There is no better feeling than walking into a Book Store or Library. The smell of books! If you know, you know! I started Bees to Blossoms Books because I want to share my love of books and my love of reading with as many people as possible. I especially love to share this love with children.
My Mobile Book Store rolls to markets, festivals, community events, business partnerships and even private events. Every stop is a chance to put the right book in the right hands.

Meet Laura
Laura Heitman
Owner & Operator
Laura is a retired Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher. She loved to pass her lifelong passion for reading along to her students. Laura is honored to be a former Scholastic Teacher Advisor. The absolute best part of teaching reading is seeing that spark in a child’s eye when they “get” it.
That spark is what drove her to build Bees to Blossoms Books - a Mobile Book Store that rolls directly into the communities and events where families already gather. Laura hand-picks every title on the trailer herself.
When she is not at an event, she’s spending time with her family or reading her next recommendation. Her favorite books are The Lonely Doll, Rebecca, We Are in a Book!, Be You and more recently The Calamity Club.
